Makeup Monday – Sometimes Less Is Best

Sometimes less is best ladies! This doesn’t have to mean no makeup at all! I will not go out of the house without 1. my eyebrow’s! Yep, I over plucked those babies back in the 90’s when it was in style to have thin brows. 2. I also need a bit of a CC cream to even out my uneven skin tones, I tend to get a bit red on my cheeks. So let’s look at what you can do to get a natural beautiful glow without packing on the foundations and powders for a nice spring summer look.

These tips are good for all skin types and ages. Mature skin looks best with maximum hydration and less it best makeup techniques.

1.We always have to start by prepping and cleansing the skin. Every morning and evening you skin should be cleansed, toned and moisturized. Also, important to exfoliate 2x per week.

2.Find a good tinted moisturizer or CC cream. I like to use Stila CC cream. Its light to medium coverage for an everyday look. I apply it with my fingers and blend with my beauty blender. I think finish with a bit of Pure Naturals powder, just to tone down the shine. You may not need that.

3. Fill in your brows in the spots that need it most. No need to fill the entire brow. I like to use a powder and angled brush, gives a very natural look.

4. Add a little mascara to your lashes for an added pop.

5. Add your favorite lip gloss or you can sheer our your favorite lips stick by blending a gloss in together then applying it all with a lip brush.

6. Finally, if you feel you need a bit of colour on your cheeks, add a powdered blush or a cream blush if your skin tends to be dry.

That’s it. The perfect no makeup makeup look for a spring summer healthy glow.
