Top 12 Most Frequently Asked Questions About Boudoir Photography

The thought of a boudoir session can be a scary thing for a lot of women. There are a list of questions that I get asked so often I thought I would answer them here and share them with everyone. If I didn't answer your question here, please send me a message and I will answer any questions you may have.

1. Will you share my images?

I will only share your images if that is what you want. If you don't want your images on our website, or social media that is totally fine with me. This decision is yours to make. I 100% respect any decision you make!! Some women want to share their images because it helps other women see that they can do it too. That they are beautiful and should love themselves in this empowering experience. Other woman want to keep the images for just themselves and or their partner. What ever your reason, I will honour that.

2. Do I have to wear lingerie?

You absolutely do not have to wear lingerie. The options are endless. I have some people bring in dresses, jean jackets, faux fur and body suits. It's all up to you and the vibe you want to create at your session. We can set up a call before your session and I can help you figure out outfits.

3. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I offer a few different options. There is a retainer fee that is due at the time of booking to secure your date and time. You can pay that in full or you can pay half, the the other half is due 2 weeks before your shoot date. If you would like to payment plan for the retainer and need more time, we can book your shoot a few months out and that way we can schedule a payment plan that suits your needs. I also offer payment plans for the products that you would like to purchase. We can discuss this in more detail at your consult.

4. Do you offer hair and makeup?

Yes, I think it is so important to have your hair and makeup professionally done for your boudoir experience. We offer hair and makeup for all sessions. You can let us know what you have in mind for your shoot and we will accommodate your ideas.

5. Do you photo shop my images?

I edit your images for colour balance, light and exposure. I do some light skin retouching. I like my clients to look like themselves, just a bit more polished. I am not into heavy warping or body altering. I really want my clients to love themselves the way they are and embrace themselves for who they are.

6. Where should I purchase my outfits?

There are so many online shops with many different sizing and styles to chose from. Victoria's secret, La Senza, Forever 21,  Torrid , Lace 

If you are looking for something specific and havnen't found it yet, let me know and I may know where to get it.

7. What type of prints & products do you offer?

I offer a variety of different luxury options from Albums, heirloom glass box, folio boxes. I also offer Collections that have a variety of different options in them at the best value.

8. Do you offer digitals?

Yes, you have the options of purchasing a digital collection only. They start at 10 images and go up from there.

9. I am freaking out here! I'm so nervous! How can I calm my nerves?

Everyone has some level of nervousness when they book. Use those nerves to get excited and really enjoy the prep and picking out your outfits and then finally seeing your gorgeous images at your same day viewing and ordering session.

10. How many outfits should I bring?

If you have booked The Complete Boudoir Experience, then you can bring up to 4-6 outfits. If you have booked The Mini, then 1 outfit comes with that package, with the option to add 2 more outfits.

11. Should I get to my shoot early?

Yes, please arrive about 10-15 mins early for your shoot, so that we can get settled and take a look at your outfits etc..

12. Where are you located?

We are located in Toronto Ontario, close to Yorkdale mall.
