Hair & Makeup Options For Your Boudoir Session
Hair & Makeup Options For Your Boudoir Session
Do you love getting your hair and makeup done? I sure do. I love being pampered and then seeing the final look! How about you?
Getting your hair and makeup done for your boudoir session is included in all of my session options. It’s so important to have the right makeup application done. The camera can wash you out, so knowing what will work is key to having the image turn out the way you want.
Having pro hair and makeup for your boudoir session I highly recommend. The hair and makeup artist understands colour and contour, highlighting and so much more. When you are investing in gorgeous images, it’s worth it to have your hair and makeup taken care of professionally.
Styles
My photography style is timeless and classy. I recommend keeping your hair and makeup as timelessly gorgeous as possible. While following trends can be fun, in years down the road, you may think differently. Choosing makeup colours that best suit your skin tone, eye colour will be your best option.
Hair Prep
Prepping your hair before your boudoir photo shoot will be the key to your hair looking amazing!! If your hair is naturally curly and you’d like to have a smoother more volumes larger curl look, be sure to have your hair blown dry, either professionally or yourself if you can manage that. If you are doing your own smooth blow out, be sure to use a smoothing anti frizz hair cream on your hair prior to your blow dry. This will ensure that your hair will be as frizz free as possible. Do the best you can, once you arrive at the studio, we will smooth out any kinks and curl/set your hair for that sexy voluminous look you are going for. If your hair is straight, you can wash your hair the day before and then be sure to add a volume booster to the roots of your hair. No need to hair spray. we will then style your hair the way that you’d like.
Makeup Prep
You are more then welcome to pin some ideas for hair and makeup onto a Pinerest board. We can then use that photo as inspiration while crafting your boudoir look.
Be sure to exfoliate your skin the week before your photo shoot. This will ensure that your skin will be prepped and ready for your makeup application. Wash your face and apply some moisturizer and arrive at the studio with no makeup on. We will take care of your makeup and hair and pamper you and make you feel so awesome.
We always make sure that you are feeling and looking the absolute best version of yourself. Photo makeup is a little heavier then an everyday makeup. The camera does tend to wash people out. If you are planning a night out after, you will be all set to go!
If you are ready to book your boudoir photo shoot experience. I would love to chat with you more.
