Lingerie Myths

Myth #1

There are a few lingerie myths that I want to debunk today. Before you chose your boudoir session lingerie outfits keep these 3 lingerie myths in mind. Thinking that a baby doll nighty will be just the right outfit to cover what you want to cover couldn’t be further from he truth. Form fitted clothing always photographs better then flowing night gowns and clothing. Wearing large baggy clothes actually adds width to our bodies in the camera. Form fitted clothing is the way to go, always! Oh, don’t worry about any area’s that you maybe feel self conscious about! I know just how to pose my clients, for the most flattering look.

Myth #2

Wear or purchase items for your shoot that you feel most comfortable wearing.. No way :). Yes of coarse you can bring some outfits that you would normally wear, but step outside of your comfort zone and opt for a few pieces that you may not wear. I always tell my clients to bring a variety, and I do offer a wardrobe consult for all of my clients before their session.

Myth #3

I’m not really a frills and lace kinda girl! That’s totally ok! We will come up with some outfits that you will totally rock for your session. Some of my clients bring a ripped t-shirt and a pair of underwear and they look so amazing. A few of my clients like jean jackets, that we can make it into an illusion of topless. Some ladies opt to bring their faux fur to the shoot, that makes an amazing statement piece. The options are limitless. I am super creative, and can always help come up with ideas that will suit your style!
