3 Ways To Avoid Burnout
Today I am going to share with you, 3 ways to avoid burnout. Can you relate to this? Have you ever been just grooving along in your life, going a 100 miles per hour, and then out of nowhere you suddenly hit a wall? My friend, you are not alone. Being a woman means life going at lightening speed most days. Because we are so efficient and great at multitasking, we think we can always handle that speed. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are also susceptible to getting burn out if we aren’t careful. Here are a few tips that I have implemented into my life, that have really helped.
Unplug Your Life
Try unplugging for a day once a week. I know it’s easier said then done. But, trust me, once I started having one day a week where I didn’t check any social media, or any work emails or anything to do with my phone, I felt like I actually had a break. I also have a rule in my house. After 6 PM the phone’s go away for the night. This way we can focus on family activities and each other. It’s been a total game changer for us. Invest In Yourself
What lights your up? Do more of what gets your fire going. We can’t run on empty and expect the best us to show up everyday. Go and find that hobby, or activity that you love to do, and do it often. Schedule it into your day. You will be glad you did.
Life is so short to not have a day to play and have fun. We can implement playfulness into our everyday life. Laugh more, have fun, dancing in the rain and travel to places that you have never been. I challenge you to try these 3 tips this week.
